As an owner-managed family business, we have stood for reliability, flexibility and quality for over 120 years. With individual consulting services and close, long-term cooperation with our customers, we focus on pioneering new developments – from the initial idea through the entire product life cycle.

Since our foundation in 1904, we have developed into a key player in the ceramics industry with 200 employees and around 400 million customized components every year.

The 4th generation: Martin Sembach joins the company. From 1997 to 2020, he managed the company with sole responsibility.

Environmental protection and sustainability

Our company is characterized by a high level of innovation – not only in the technical field, but also in terms of sustainability and environmental protection. This is a key concern for us, especially as the production of technical ceramics is an energy-intensive process. We are therefore always committed to economically feasible environmental protection measures. Since 2005 we are certified by the environmental management standard DIN EN ISO 14001 and, since 2012, in accordance with the energy management standard DIN EN ISO 50001. Through continuous improvement and innovation, we are working together to minimize our ecological footprint and shape a green future. At Sembach sustainability is not a target, but a daily journey on which we make progress.

Health protection and occupational safety

Protecting health in the workplace is a top priority for Sembach. This includes not only accident prevention and plant safety measures, but also comprehensive prevention to maintain the physical and mental health of the workforce. OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001 certification underlines the company’s commitment to a safe and healthy workplace. Sembach sees it as his responsibility to create a working environment in which all employees feel comfortable and protected.

As a medium-sized family business, we see each and every one of our approx. 200 employees as part of the Sembach family. We attach great importance to a culture in which team spirit is not just an empty phrase, but is lived and revitalized every day. We are also aware of our responsibility towards our employees.
